Are the roleplaying community mostly carebears?
Perhaps the literally dozens of corporations who have declared war on the CVA or UK over the last couple of years looking for an easy fight and gone home with their tails between their legs could provide an answer.
I believe that PIE holds the pre-Exodus record for the number of simulteneous wars - well over twenty.

Give people a reason to fight you, and I'm sure they will. If it's AM that you want to fight, why did you create a pro-Khanid corporation? One of their member corps is also Khanid, and so unlikely to want to commit fractricide

But that's missing the point.
The Kingdom and the Empire now have positive standings towards each other, so there's no explicit IC justification for Khanid loyalists to declare on Amarr loyalists.

Where's the fun in fighting people like you ? RP pvp corps dont fight for the sake of fighting. It's not only the kills that give them their enjoyment, it's the whole scenery, background, politics and roleplay stuff around it that gives them a reason to enjoy their kills.
I could very well imagine them having no respect at all for people that are only in it for the mindless killing, and thus would have no wish to fight you at all.
